Hidden mining (cryptojacking) is the unauthorized and illegal use of computing power of devices (infected with viruses) for mining cryptocurrency. Cybercriminals usually use trojans, malware, botnets and other types of infection to infect machines. Hidden mining can be the result of downloading infected programs or entering malicious sites.
